Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1 tbsp sugar or maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice plus more for topping
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or 1-2 shots of espresso
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Heat over medium-low, stirring until well combined and slightly thickened.
  • Add the vanilla extract and remove from heat.
  • Brew your coffee or espresso.
  • Heat the milk in a saucepan or microwave, then froth using a frother or whisk until foamy.
  • In a mug, mix 2-3 tablespoons of the pumpkin spice syrup with coffee or espresso. Top with frothed milk.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. Serve immediately and enjoy!
